We have many different categories of membership - one for every kind of person or family out there. Please refer to the chart below for find the plan that best fits your needs.
Remember, it is our belief that membership, as well as programs and child care, should be available to all. Please scroll down to the bottom of this page to read more about our Financial Assistance Policy or to get a copy of the application.
Full privilege adult, family and/or senior YMCA members are entitled to use the two city branches of the YMCA of Central Massachusetts. They are: the Central Community Branch (Main St., Worcester) and the Greendale Family Branch (Shore Dr., Worcester).

*Verification is needed for dependent status, i.e. tax form.
Other adults residing at the same residence (verification is required) can be added to a Family/Household/2 or Family Household/3+ for an additional $20/month/per adult.
Monthly Bank draft: This is an automatic electronic fund transfer from your checking or savings account. This membership is continuous and requires a 30-day written notice for cancellation.
Rejoin Fee: A rejoin fee of $50 will be charged if your membership lapses for more than 30 days. |
College Students
City membership is provided to college students with valid college identification. No joining fee is charged.
1 Month College Membership $41.00 or 3 months for $120.00
Clergy Memberships
10% discount - no joining fee

Limited Memberships
Preschool, Youth and Teen Memberships are branch specific and do not include use of all three branches. Limited memberships allow for program registration; not for general use of the facility with the exception of the Teen Membership. There are NO JOINING FEES associated with Limited Memberships; however, payment is required. Please see the Welcome Center for specific details about Limited Memberships.

Insurance Reimbursements
We can help you get the discount you deserve! Many health insurance providers give a reimbursement back to their subscribers when they enroll at the YMCA for a period of time. Please contact your provider for more information and contact Membership Services at x 270 for details.
Membership Cancellations
Membership Cancellations MUST BE in writing and require a 30-day notice to terminate. Please contact Membership Services at 508-852-6694 x 270 if you have any questions.
Reciprocity
Are you a member of another YMCA in Massachusetts or Rhode Island. Your Membership is valid at the YMCA of Central Massachusetts (Contact Membership at 508-852-6694 for details)
