YMCA School's Out is a licensed school-age childcare program designed to meet the needs of busy families. We have flexible enrollment options at our three sites serving 18 Worcester schools, we have scholarship assistance available through the Y Access program, and we accept vouchers from Child Care Resources. Afterschool Child Care
On any school-day afternoon in Worcester, hundreds of children in YMCA School's Out programs are getting help with their homework, creating an original art project, playing in the gym or on the playground, or just enjoying some social time with friends. Non-School Day Programs
When there is no school (like snow days, holidays, and school vacations), your child can join us at the Central Community Branch YMCA for a full-day program of swimming, crafts, games, rock-climbing, field trips, and more! Our Staff
Our caring, professional staff is dedicated to providing a positive, nurturing environment for your child during their out-of-school time. Each site is staffed with a ratio of one staff person for every eight to ten children. Many of our staff attend area colleges and are pursuing careers in education, social work, or childcare. We are looking forward to supporting your family by building long-term relationships with you and your child!
