The Men's Health Program addresses important needs in our community. We promote awareness and provide access to healthcare resources to some of the most vulnerable members of our community; we remove barriers that prevent people from receiving services. Specifically, the goals of the program are to:

Provide effective outreach services to reach and serve the homeless, uninsured, and underinsured and immigrant populations through the involvement of the YMCA Community Relations Director, YMCA Health and Wellness Department, U-Mass Memorial Ronald McDonald Care Mobile, Worcester Area United Methodist Ministries, Henry Lee Willis, Inc.

Preventions Services: Partnering with other neighborhood centers, Worcester House of Correction, the Worcester Police Department, and Department Of Mental Health will provide educational workshops and activities geared to address unhealthy behaviors, and social issues that often lead to many medical concerns.

YMCA Men's Health will provide cultural sensitive safe haven to provide all medical screenings and services and continue through collaboration with U-Mass Memorial Ronald McDonald Care Mobile, Worcester Area United Methodist Ministries, Henry Lee Willis, Inc. to ensure grassroots delivery of all services.

Men's Health Program will provide referrals and resources through current and new collaborations.

In the area of Men's Health, the YMCA continues to demonstrate it ability to facilitate the Greater Worcester Men's Health Coalition, perform effective and efficient outreach to men and their families, and host a number of high profile, successful community events.
