Welcome to the Central Community Branch of the YMCA of Central Massachusetts conveniently located at 766 Main Street in the heart of the city. Built in 1920 this YMCA is one of the best-kept secrets in Worcester.  We recently completed a multi-million dollar renovation to our facility and invite you to stop by for a tour or a visit. 

When you visit you will find all of the amenities you would expect from a health and wellness facility and more.  There is a newly renovated fitness center with brand new state of the art equipment, basketball court, racquetball and squash courts, swimming pools, rock-gym and a wide variety of programs for children and adults of all ages.  Off site, at a variety of locations, we provide quality affordable licensed childcare, serving infants through school age children.  We also have a summer camp in Sutton on beautiful Manchaug pond with swimming, boating, nature, sports and everything we need to help children grow in spirit, mind and body.  

Our Central Branch staff and membership reflect the rich diversity of our city. We are a community of members that are like friends and family to each other.  The Central Branch is well known for being a safe and positive place for teens, providing some of the best opportunities available for this tough to reach age group.  If you haven't been by to visit Central recently you don't know what you're missing.
